About Us

Parenting Cleft and Palate is here to help parents, to give hope and inspiration to parents of children with disabilities or not. Either way, being a parent can come with many challenges. Personally, I am parenting my 8-year-old daughter with Bi-lateral Cleft lip and Palate and borderline ADHD. I personally know that struggles that Cleft brings from birth to adulthood, having to deal with several doctor appointments, surgeries, therapy, and orthodontic gadgets all while staying positive and having patience with this journey, to walk by faith and not by sight.

“Sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles.” -Anonymous
